Help for New Parents

Layettes and Car Seats

When you deliver your baby, just speak to your Birth Center social worker or nurse at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center or PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center (in Longview) about a layette, car seat for 4-35 pound children, or Sibling Bag.  We stock their units with car seats and layettes for girls, boys and preemies. There are no financial requirements. If you need help, we’re here for you.

If you have already delivered, you or a friend can contact Kitty at kittyash2@msn.com or leave a voicemail for Mona at 406-439-6694. We are located at All Saints Episcopal Church, 2206 NW 99th Street, Vancouver, WA 98665.  The office is at the back of the church.

Diapers, Wipes, and Laundry Detergent

For children of all ages who live in Washington State. By appointment only: please call 406-439-6694 and leave a voicemail (no text messages, please). Mona will return your call within 24 hours to schedule an appointment.

Blessings to you and your baby!

Most of the families we help are headed by women – our beloved “mothers in need” – but dads struggle too. For many reasons they may be the single-parents raising a newborn, so, of course, we help our beloved “dads in need” too.
